Dr. Hancock grew up just north of Wichita in
Salina Kansas. He is a second generation chiropractor as
his father Rod Hancock has been a practicing chiropractor in
Salina for over 30 years. Dr. Tanner Hancock also has two
brothers who currently are practicing chiropractors as well. During high school Dr. Hancock set numerous state records while playing running back
for Salina Central High School. As a senior Dr. Hancock
was named Associated Press Kansas Player of the Year, becoming the first running back in Kansas history
that competed at 5A or 6A to rush over 2,000 yards in a single season. After graduating high school Dr. Hancock attended KU and played football there for 2
years before finishing his last two seasons at the University of Montana where he played in a
national championship in 2000. Shortly after graduation from the
University of Montana, Dr. Hancock moved to Dallas, Texas, where he received his doctorate in
Chiropractic from the prestigious Parker Chiropractic College. Since graduating from Chiropractic College, Dr. Hancock has lived and practiced
in Wichita. From the beginning it has been Dr. Hancock’s mission to
help as many people become well without drugs and surgery. Since the
start of his practice, Dr. Hancock has become very well know in the health industry and is considered one of
the most active chiropractors in Wichita. Dr. Hancock is also one
of the major contributors to the Foundation for Wellness Professional ,which is a non-profit nation wide
organization that offers free help and education to those in need.
